- Surname: Lippay
- The name is rather unusual. It may come from the Hungarian & Slovakian surname Lippai, of which some of my ancestors bore. As far as I can tell,
an estimated ~250 individuals bear the surname of Lippay globally. Notably, the Hungarian priest and alchemist Archbishpop György Lippay (1600-1660) and Austrian-Filipino founder of the Manila Symphony Alexander Lippay (1892-1939) are forebears of the name.

- Another fun quirk of my name is that my initials spell the abbreviation for the word 'middle.' My sister's initials are the acryonym for 'faster-than-light.' I think she got the better end of the stick, personally.

- B.A Geology, Minor Mathematics. I am a sophomore (second-year) student at MHC, which is a historically-women's college, and the founding member of the prestigious Seven Sisters Colleges; colleges intended as the female counterparts to the Ivy Leauge. (The name is also a reference to the Pleiades, which I find appropriate). MHC's brother institution is Dartmouth College, which we still maintain programming with, including a 3-2 combined Engineering degree program.

- I am an incoming registered Visiting Student for the 2026-27 academic year. I will be taking primary tutorials in Mathematics and secondary tutorials in Earth Science. I am a member of a small cohort accepted on high standards to be resident members of an Oxford college for Michaelmas, Hilary, and Trinity terms. You may know my maths tutor, Dr. Tom Crawford, as TomRocksMath on YouTube and elsewhere.

You may know me as Will (named after a childhood favorite book character, Will Treaty from John Flannagan's Ranger's Apprentice series); falling-cosmos (my handle on Wikipedia and select other sites), codeycat (a childhood screename that I used on the amateur programming website, Scratch.mit.edu, and later in certain circles associated with creatives that produced work on that site); ifwynn (another internet handle inspired by my love of conlannging and fantasy naming conventions), or charmedsabi (a screenname for my more high-brow pursuits, such as Math Stack Exchange).
